Career:

I have worked as a director and creative director for the past 18 years. Originally trained as a theatre director at NIDA, I now work in large-scale experiences, events and branded content.

Highlights include directing for Heckler, Ogilvy & Mather, Huawei, Sydney Opera House, CalArts and McDonalds.

​

I hold a PhD in Integrated Media Performance from the University of NSW.

 

I create exciting new experiences for audiences, telling stories onstage and onscreen with the spectacular and innovative use of new media technologies, including projection, LED screens, animation, live performers, motion graphics and immersive content and experiences.

​

I specialise in working with video & lighting designers animators and choreographers, using projection and other new media technologies onstage, for live events and for in-camera work.

 

I have trained and worked with some of the world’s most respected Directors, Video Designers and Projection Designers, including Robert Lepage & Ex Machina, Peter Flaherty and The Builders Association. In my early career I trained with theatre greats including Cicely Berry of the Royal Shakespeare Company and playwright Edward Albee. 

 

I am available for work as a director, creative director, collaborator or consultant in the arenas of theatre, opera, dance, events & product launches, branded content and advertising.

 

I also provide tailored lectures and workshops in Storytelling with New Media Technologies. I am currently a guest lecturer at NIDA and AIM.
